About

Gabriella Kovago

Gabriella (Gaby) Kovago is a London-based costume designer and stylist known for bringing attitude, artistry, and storytelling to every thread.

With a Master’s in Fashion and Accessory Design from Budapest’s prestigious Moholy-Nagy University, her journey began in fashion, but storytelling pulled her toward film, where fabric becomes character and design becomes dialogue.

Since relocating to the UK in 2009, Gaby has worked on acclaimed productions for Disney, ITV, BBC, Netflix, and Warner Bros, building an impressive wardrobe department résumé across both period and contemporary worlds. Her indie film credits include Shore Leave, A Song From the Dark, Winter Ridge, The Loss Adjuster, and the BAFTA-longlisted short The Listener, collaborating with directors such as Marcus Thompson, Ogodinife Okpue, Dom Lenoir, Robbie Moffat, and The Bashford Twins.

Beyond film, Gaby’s styling portfolio is equally dynamic. She has led high-volume wardrobe projects across commercials, still-life, and model shoots - including standout campaigns for DULUX, CURPINOL, TSB – Everyday Heroes, and Just Eat - UEFA. She styled music icon Beverley Knight for her festive video The Christmas Wish, and brought bold, character-driven looks to rapper and presenter Big Zuu, actor Luke Goss, and Dame Joan Collins in the feature film Loss Adjuster

Whether designing custom builds or sourcing the perfect vintage detail, Gaby creates wardrobes that do more than dress characters - they define them. Her work is rooted in collaboration, driven by emotion, and powered by a deep love for visual storytelling.
