Gabriella Kovago is an independent Costume Designer and Wardrobe Stylist. Gaby graduated from the Moholy – Nagy University of Budapest with an MA in Fashion & Accessory Design. She began her career as a Fashion Designer in Hungary, where she showcased her own collection. In 2009 she moved to London in order to explore further opportunities in the entertainment industry. Her background in fashion has influenced her approach as a costume designer.

 

When she moved into films she worked on various types of productions including award-winning Short Films – Shadows, Night Armour, Are you Albert?, Boxer on The Wilderness, The Listener, which has been long-listed for a BAFTA - and Indie Feature Films – Winter Ridge, Shore Leave, Olive Green. Working with award-winning directors such as Dan Hodgson, Dom Lenoir, Marcus Thompson, Anna Blandford, Suki Sign, Kyle and Liam Basford and many others.

 

She’s always looking for collaboration with talented filmmakers who are committed to powerful and meaningful storytelling. Her stylistic design work combines her hands-on experience with fashion knowledge, attention to detail, her passion for creating beautiful dresses and her love for the art of storytelling.
